The Shady Hill Polled Dorset flock began in 1964. 
From the start, Shady Hill Farms has been committed to producing unsurpassed quality sheep with integrity. 
We are now intensively linebreeding in an effort to accentuate the positives in our flocks.
We are linebreeding primarily to Martin 0200 as he is the most extraordinary Polled Dorset ram 
we have ever had access to in our many decades of breeding better sheep.

We have quite literally hung hundreds of banners over five decades and mulitple generations of breeding and showing sheep.
Today our focus is on better farming and better sheep and not on banners and showing sheep.
We simply concentrate on producing the very best sheep and related products for our discriminating customers.
